To gain a deeper understanding of the nature and application of herbal medicine, he humbly learned from indigenous tribal chiefs (Tok Batin), traditional herbalists (Tok Halak), Southeast Asian herbal practitioners, and local communities dependent on forest products. Throughout this process, Dr Victor gradually recognized the remarkable efficacy of porcupine bezoars in addressing difficult and complex illnesses, particularly cancer, and even witnessed cases where they contributed to successful recovery.
